CAN GetProperty

Hello Everyone,
 
                            I am trying to retrive the channel/signal name from a databasefile using the CAN GetProperty VI's. This VI allows the user to select a desired type,based on the reference input. but i do not find any option to retrive the channel name.I am using "Message.Channel"  format to generate the task reference from the CAN_Init VI.
 
Is there a way to retrive only the  channel name from the task reference initialized in CAN_Init Vi ?
 
I tried the GetNames Vi,but it gives out all the channels and i require only the one initialized in "Message.Channel" format.

hello Yawn ,
                     Yes, I am using the "message.channe" format to generate the reference number.I am posting a picture of the front panel of the VI.I cannot post in the Badabase file but is a standard vector database file(.dbc).
                       In the picture u can see Task Reference Out =1 and Channel List =VEH_SPEED.SPEED_PRTY(Message.CHannel) ...now i want to retrive the channel name(SPEED_PRTY) using the Task Reference Out ='1'.  Let me know,if i am clear enough.

Hello Yawn,
                      I got it working using the parsing technique.I created a global variable for the  "message.Channel" array and geting our the channel name initialized.I was wondering ,why does not the CAN_Get property include an option of "channel name initalized" and only includes "channel name"(list of all in the message).
                        I am working on testing some signals/channels using the .dbc file and i wanted to access only the channel initialzed in CAN_Init Vi.
